EDCO is traveling across the country to meet the most ambitious community leaders and pioneers of Energy Democracy. With an Energy Democracy, we can take back electric, economic and political power - all while creating a cleaner, healthier future.
Our goal is to put a spotlight on the stories of these leaders and their communities to show that our clean energy transition is about more than saving our planet. It’s about forging long-lasting relationships with our neighbors in the quest to build a brighter future.
Who Are We?
EDCO unites young climate activists from a wide variety of backgrounds to form an innovative team of leaders. Our core team includes organizers who have worked to register thousands of young people to vote, clean energy specialists, and a film-team led by a Getty Images Contributor.
