Our Time With Yesenia Rivera

The EDCO team had the opportunity to speak with Yesenia Rivera, Director of Energy Equity & Inclusion for Solar United Neighbors. The work of SUN has empowered individuals throughout the District of Columbia by providing educational and financial assistance to low-moderate income homeowners seeking to make the transition to clean energy. We discussed equity programs in the district, building trust between community and government, and different projects SUN is working on to empower individuals through solar ownership.
